Overview

The Firm advises on and litigates property matters across both the transactional and dispute stages — from due diligence and documentation at the time of purchase or development, to recovering possession, enforcing agreements, and resolving title disputes when things go wrong.

Disputes between landowners and developers can often be traced back to a collaboration agreement that didn’t clearly anticipate what eventually went wrong — a missed timeline, an unclear handover condition, or an ambiguous sharing ratio. The Firm draws on its litigation experience at the drafting stage to close those gaps in advance, and represents both landowners and developers when a dispute does arise, whatever side of the transaction a client sits on.

Property suits are filed and contested in the District Courts of Delhi, and in the Delhi High Court for higher-value suits and appeals — while buyer-developer disputes go before the Real Estate Regulatory Authority and its Appellate Tribunal.

  • Injunctions — restraining unauthorized construction, alienation, or interference with possession
  • Real Estate Regulatory Disputes — disputes between buyers and developers over delayed possession, refund, and compensation, before the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA)
